Itinerary

SATURDAY:
  • Arrival can be programmed according to riders' own schedules.

 

SUNDAY:
8:00 A.M.
  • Pick-up at Hotel Mariott Reforma in Mexico City.
    Hotel Marriott Reforma offers special discount rates to people booking through Cabalgatas La Sierra. We will gladly help you make a reservation under your name as making the reservation through us is the only way in which the hotel gives the discount and includes breakfast and transportation from de airport. 
9:15 A.M.
  • Pick-up at Hotel Courtyard Marriot Toluca Airport.
11:00 A.M.
  • Arrival to Finca Enyhe.
  • Register.
  • Set in your room.
  • Briefing.
  • Know your mount and tack.
1:00 P.M.
  • Lunch.
2:30 P.M.
  • Two hours ride to "Monte Alto".
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

 

MONDAY:
7:30 A.M.
  • Breakfast.
8:30 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse inside Finca Enyhe.
  • Five hours ride to "Los Saucos".
  • Lunch is a picnic on the trail after riding three hours.
  • Continue riding for two hours and arrive to "Los Saucos".
3:00 P.M.
  • Transfer by car to Finca Enyhe.
3:45 P.M.
  • Back in Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

 

TUESDAY:
7:30 A.M.
  • Breakfast.
8:30 A.M.
  • Transfer by car to "Los Saucos".
9:15 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse.
  • Five and a half hours ride including a visit to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary and ending in "Rancho La Compañia".
  • Lunch is a picnic on the trail after three hours riding.
  • Continue riding for two and a half hours.
4:30 P.M.
  • Transfer by car back to Finca Enyhe.
5:00 P.M.
  • Back in Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

 

WEDNESDAY:
7:30 A.M.
  • Breakfast.
8:30 A.M.
  • Transfer by car to "Rancho La Compañia".
9:00 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse.
  • Six hours ride to "Cerro Gordo".
  • Lunch is a picnic on the trail after three hours riding.
  • Continue riding three hours and arrive to "Cerro Gordo".
4:30 P.M.
  • Transfer by car back to Finca Enyhe.
5:00 P.M.
  • Back in Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

 

THURSDAY:

  • Breakfast.

  • Transfer by car to "Cerro Gordo".
9:00 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse.
  • Six hours ride to "Atezcapan".
  • Lunch is a picnic on the trail after three hours riding.
  • Continue riding three hours and arrive to "Atezcapan".
4:45 P.M.
  • Transfer on the back of a hay-truck to the lake.
5:00 P.M.
  • Transfer by boat across the lake.
5:30 P.M.
  • Transfer by car to Finca Enyhe.
5:45 P.M.
  • Back in Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

 

FRIDAY:

  • Breakfast.

  • Transfer by car to the lake.
8:45 A.M.
  • Transfer by boat across the lake.

  • Transfer on the back of a hay-truck to meet the horses.
9:30 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse.
  • Six hours ride to "Ixtla".
  • Lunch is a picnic on the trail after three hours riding.
  • Continue riding for three hours until arrival to "Ixtla".
5:00 P.M.
  • Transfer by car to Finca Enyhe.
5:30 P.M.
  • Back in Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.
7:30 P.M.
  • Dinner.

  • Transfer by car to "Ixtla".
9:00 A.M.
  • Get mounted on your horse.
  • Three and half hours ride to Finca Enyhe.

  • Mounted arrival to Finca Enyhe.

  • Lunch served in the terraces of Finca Enyhe.
  • Free time, guests can visit town or relax and enjoy Finca Enyhe.

  • Farewell dinner in town restaurant
